Profile

Dr Kamal Gupta is a senior consultant surgeon and a pioneer in minimally invasive proctology, with over three decades of clinical experience. He serves as the Medical Director of Karan Hospital, Jalandhar, and is widely recognised for advancing laser-based and sphincter-preserving techniques in anorectal surgery. He has performed thousands of advanced procedures for piles, fistula, fissure, and pilonidal disease, and has received international training in Berlin and London.

Dr Gupta is a bestselling author of five textbooks, including:

  • Atlas of Operative Proctology
  • Managing Anorectal Abscess and Fistula – A Case-Based Approach, Volume 1
